The big picture
Law enforcement teams, including Homeland Security Investigative officials, conducted coordinated raids at two properties linked to rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs on Monday.
The raids, confirmed by HSI New York, were part of an ongoing investigation with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners. Further details were not provided.
Although it’s unclear if Combs was the target, one of the properties raided is a Los Angeles mansion associated with Combs’ company, Bad Boys Film Production. The other property, located in Miami, was purchased by Combs in 2021.
Aerial footage showed SWAT vehicles near the Los Angeles home, with agents seen removing items and questioning individuals. The raids come after a lawsuit alleging Combs led a criminal enterprise involved in sex trafficking.
Combs’ Reaction to Allegations
Combs has faced multiple civil suits alleging sexual misconduct, including rape and assault. He denies all accusations and has not faced criminal charges. Requests for comment from Combs’ lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, were not returned.
In recent lawsuits, singer Cassie Ventura accused Combs of sexual misconduct, while producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones accused him of sexual assault during the production of Combs’ latest album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid.” Combs has denied these allegations.
