In Colossians 3:15-16, the Apostle Paul was inspired by the Lord to write these words to the church: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.”
There really isn’t a better way to summarize what any Christian church should look like. Living these words out is the aim of the people of Hope Lutheran Church. And no matter who you are, where you come from, or what your past looks like, you are welcomed and encouraged to come to Hope Lutheran anytime to worship the Lord Jesus Christ as one body, to be made new by the Holy Spirit, and to be filled with Christ’s love, strength, joy and peace!
