Abby Hensel, one half of the conjoined twin duo, confirms her marriage to army veteran Josh Bowling, marking a significant transition for the pair.
Abby, the left-side conjoined twin, tied the knot with Josh Bowling, a nurse and United States Army veteran, in 2021, as recently revealed. The couple resides in Minnesota, the birthplace and upbringing locale of the Hensel twins, as reported by The New York Post.
Abby and her twin sister, Brittany Hensel, aged 34, have largely maintained private lives since their reality series, “Abby & Brittany,” aired in 2012. Despite this, their journey has been filled with happiness and fulfillment.
According to the Today show, which obtained marriage records for the newlyweds, the sisters both serve as fifth-grade teachers in their home state.
The couple managed to keep their marital status discreet until 2023 when they shared glimpses of their wedding ceremony on their TikTok account, @abbyandbrittanyhensel.

Originally featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996, Abby and Brittany provided insights into their lives as conjoined twins. Born as dicephalous conjoined twins in 1990, they possess a rare condition where two heads share a single body, comprising one genital system, multiple limbs, hearts, and legs.
Despite the complexities of life as conjoined twins, Abby and Brittany have not allowed it to hinder their aspirations. From passing their driver’s license test at 16 to graduating from college, embarking on European travels, and ultimately becoming educators, they’ve achieved significant milestones.
While there’s no indication yet of plans to expand their family, a documentary from 2003, “Joined for Life,” sees the twins discussing the prospect of motherhood someday. Although they’re currently focused on their careers and personal lives, Abby’s husband already has a child from a previous relationship, as per the Daily Mail.
