The studio confirmed that Elden Ring has sold over 25 million copies since its launch, making it one of the best-selling games in its history. Only a potential Elden Ring 2 or another major saga could surpass this feat, like GTA 6, which is expected to launch next year.

There is a ton of information available about this new DLC, where players can access a completely new area, along with an array of never-before-seen weapons and imposing final bosses. However, to access the new story content, players will need to have defeated several of the game’s toughest bosses and reach a minimum level requirement to enter.

On June 21, Shadow of the Erdtree will be available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Priced at $40, it already has a significant number of pre-orders from fans eagerly awaiting this content.
