Emily Willis Awakens from Coma: Family Shares Update on Her Condition

Adult film star Emily Willis, who has been in a ”vegetative coma” for the past two months, has now awakened, as revealed by her family members. According to News.com.au, Emily’s stepfather recently disclosed that the 25-year-old can now ”track things with her eyes, smile, and even become emotional during conversations”. However, despite this progress, she remains in a ”vegetative state” and is still unable to move.

Although there is hope with the significant improvement in her overall health, her brother, as reported by TMZ, mentioned that ”doctors aren’t anticipating further improvement.”

Initially, it was believed that Ms. Willis’ cardiac arrest was caused by an apparent overdose while she was in rehabilitation. However, her father later revealed that her toxicology testing yielded negative results, leaving medical experts puzzled as to the cause of her cardiac arrest.

In light of her condition, her family is planning to transfer her from the California hospital to one in St. George, Utah, to be closer to loved ones and to receive more affordable care, as reported by the New York Post.

To assist with her medical expenses, her brother Michael initiated a GoFundMe campaign, which has garnered more than $70,000 in donations so far.

”Regarding the reports of an overdose, we want to clarify that they are not accurate as far as the doctors and my family know. Emily was receiving the treatment and help she needed at the time of the incident to overcome her struggles. She retired from the adult industry nearly two years ago and had aspirations of success in other fields of entertainment. Those who worked with her in her new career path knew she had the potential to achieve her dreams,” the GoFundMe post read.

Ms. Willis entered the adult film industry in 2017 and quickly rose to become one of the world’s most popular actresses, predominantly working with brands like Reality Kings and Evil Angel. She was honored with the title of female performer at the Adult Video News Awards in 2011, often referred to as the ”Oscars of porn.” Additionally, she made an appearance in the sci-fi film Divinity last year.
