A SELF-STYLED “hairy girl” has hit back at trolls that say she “needs a good shave”.

Social media personality Cherry regularly shares videos promoting body positivity and encouraging women to stop being “shamed” into removing their body hair.

Practicing what she preaches, the content creator hasn’t shaved her legs, armpits or pubic region in months.

Her body hair can be spotted in a number of her Tik Tok videos both related and unrelated to her cause.

But cruel trolls have told her to stop “showing off” her hairy legs and accused her of going “above and beyond” to promote her message

Cherry, who posts under @ittybittycherry, has made a string of retaliation videos shutting them down.

In one, she said: “I’m gonna let you in on a crazy secret… women have hair.

“Yeah, crazy I know because you never see it in the media and women go through crazy lengths to remove it.

“And if we didn’t as a society, this is what we would look like.

“It’s just natural.”

In another video, Cherry from Seattle, US responded to a troll who accused her of “showing off unnaturally”.

The content creator retaliated: “Why don’t you actually help me understand what’s unnatural about body hair?

“Should I just never lift my arms up? Never wear shorts?

“Or maybe I can help you understand that this isn’t for your viewing pleasure – it’s what makes me comfortable.

“I’m just living my daily life like anyone else.

“Just because you can see body hair does not mean I’m showing it off for you.”

One man even told Cherry that he would shave her legs in her sleep if she was his girlfriend.

Common methods of body hair removal include shaving, waxing and, more recently, laser.

Cherry’s videos have seen her grow a loyal following of fellow women looking to embrace their natural hair.

One commented: “If we were supposed to remove it, why do we grow it?!

“You do you girl, I respect it.”

Another penned: “I love this. I finally quit shaving and I love it. Soft and fluffy, yay.
