Kevin Jonas revealed he underwent surgery to remove skin cancer from his face.

On Tuesday, the 36-year-old singer shared a health update as he posted a clip on Instagram of himself before and after going through the procedure.

‘So today I am getting a basal-cell carcinoma removed from my head,’ he explained.

The Jonas Brothers member — who shared an adorable photo of his 10-year-old daughter Alena dressed up as him last week — panned the camera to show a mole on his forehead while he was lying down.

‘Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guy that has started to grow,’ he said. ‘And now I have to get surgery to remove it, so here we go.’

Immediately after the procedure, he pulled back the gauze to check out the post-operative results but concealed the incision with an emoji with a shocked, wide-eyed expression.

He made a similar expression himself after looking underneath the bandage.

The clip then cut to Kevin sitting in the car as he prepared to drive home following the quick and easy procedure.

‘Alright, I’m done,’ the Camp Rock actor said. ‘Now it’s time to heal. Heading home.’

He then urged his 4.9 million followers to frequently get health checkups.

‘Make sure to get those moles checked, people,’ the former Disney star added.

In the caption of the post, he also wrote: ‘Friendly reminder to get your moles checked.’

This comes shortly after he and his brothers, Nick and Joe, postponed their Jonas Brothers tour titled Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour.
