A video of media personality and rapper Molemo Maarohanye, also known as Jub Jub, discussing a fake Facebook account made in his name has been circulating. The fake account has been sharing news about musician Shebeshxt’s accident. In response, the rapper posted a video on his social media platforms to address the situation.

The Facebook page handle @Jub Jub which seemingly is not the only one created in the media personality’s name has over a million followers and bares news about several celebrity stories.

One of the stories about Shebeshxt that the page had shared which rubbed followers the wrong way was a captioned that read, “The burial of Shebeshxt’s daughter has been stopped & it won’t happen anytime soon, it’s a mess. Why did they do this though, will she rest in peace? See video in comments.”

Internet users came for the Facebook page owner in the comment section thinking it was the rapper. Many reminded him of his own accident that claimed the lives of four kids who were on their way to school.

Taking time to address these fake social media pages, Jub Jub took to his official Instagram account and shared a video. In the video, he started by confirming that it was him on the video talking.

He then added, “It has come to my attention through my team that there’s a lot of Facebook accounts that have been opened. He then shared his Instagram, TikTok and Facebook page handles before declaring that his official FB handle is @Molemo Jub Jub Maarohanye with just over a thousand followers.”

Jub Jub went on to add that there’s a lot of scammers who use their names to scam people through things like forex trading and other ways before adding, “It has risen out to a point where it is crossing the boundary where they are speaking about the Shebeshxt accident.

“I really have got nothing to do with that. I’ve said nothing about it, I’ve got no opinion. I don’t know the boy, I’ve never met the boy and nobody should have an opinion too. Please, let’s let him and his family grieve in peace and let’s respect each other’s privacy.
