Selena Gomez has opened up about plans to expand her family before the age of 35.

Just weeks after her ex-Justin Bieber revealed his wife Hailey was expecting a baby, Selena Gomez opened up about family planning. 

The actress recently shared that she intended to adopt a child by herself if she hadn’t found the right partner by 35 years old.

During the Time 100 Most Influential Companies event, Selena disclosed: “I was alone for five years, and I got really used to it.

“A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it.

“Then I came up with my plan, which was I was going to adopt at 35 if I had not met anyone,” she said

However, the 31-year-old’s singlehood ended last year after confirming her romance with musician boyfriend, Benny Blanco, 36.

The pair had previously worked together as he produced her 2015 hits Same Old Love and Kill ’Em With Kindness, along with her 2017 song with Cashmere Cat, Trust Nobody.

Although Selena prefers to remain private about their relationship during interviews, Benny gushed when talking about the singer on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show.

“She’s the coolest, the nicest, the sweetest,” Benny stated. “She’s truly just like my best friend… we laugh all f**king day.”

When quizzed about children, he added: “That’s my next goal on the box. I have a lot of god kids, I’ve got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids.”

Howard then proceeded to ask Benny when he was going to propose to the Disney star.

The producer responded: ”When I look at her, I do say, I’m always just like, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.’”
