Khloe Kardashian has shared snaps from her recent getaway to Janet Jackson’s concert in Palm Springs.
Decked out in an edgy leather jacket and leggings, the reality star, 39, looked like she could have been in a Janet Jackson music video as she prepared to jet off to the desert on her sister’s private jet, Kim Air.
Khloe – who was seen grabbing lunch with her cheating ex Tristan Thompson on Monday – posted a slew of snaps taken ahead of the concert to her Instagram account on Monday.
Her retro look consisted of fitted motorcycle jacket with quilted sleeves and an angled front exterior.
While the jacket was statement-making enough, she took the look to the next level with glossy leggings and thigh-high leather boots.
Khloe carried a sleek silver handbag and also wore flat sunglasses and a glossy hairstyle.
‘Ms Kardashian if you’re nasty! Had to wear this leather baby to go see Queen Janet Jackson. PS I really have to start closing my purses before I take pics,’ she captioned the post.
Khloe was traveling to Janet’s concert in style.
She appeared to have been driven onto the tarmac in a luxurious Rolls Royce before jetting off in Kim Kardashian’s private jet, which sat waiting for her with an elaborate display of balloons.
Khloe ultimately arrived to Jackson’s concert at the Palm Desert Arena in a party bus with her sister Kim and their mother, Kris Jenner.
But Kim sparked fresh backlash for attending the concert in the iconic, two-piece outfit Jackson wore in her 1993 music video for If.
While Kim bought the ensemble for $25,000 back in 2021, the 43-year-old reality star waited three years to wear the custom-made black crop top and black suede pants, with lace up in the front and fringe on the sides, out publicly.
Upon revealing that she was attending Jackson’s concert in the archival look, social media users flocked to X (previously known as Twitter) to condemn her choice.
Many fans of Jackson were enraged that the American Horror Story actress was wearing the look, which some argued ‘should be in a museum.’
‘Buying historical pieces just for the kick of it, UGH!’ one complained while others tweeted that the mother-of-four was acting ‘cringe.’
Another asked: ‘Why the hell does she have a lot of the Jackson’s clothes? Why them??’
‘Cause they’re fans and they can afford them!’ a loyal Kardashian fan replied, to which someone asked if the SKIMS founder was going to damage the garments like she ‘ruined Marilyn Monroe’s dress’ at the 2021 Met Gala.
Despite speculation that Kardashian damaged the back of the crystal-covered dress, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!, the owner of the gown, said in a statement that the reality star ‘did not, in any way, damage the garment in the short amount of time it was worn at the Met Gala.’
Some fans of the TV personality argued that people can’t be ‘so mad at her buying’ the look, which was part of a three-day auction on Jackson’s 55th birthday in 2021.
At the time, the All for You hitmaker sweetly told Kardashian that she hopes the outfit gave her ‘as much pleasure as it did’ her over Instagram.
