When Spider-Man: No Way Home hit the theatres in 2021, fans around the world lost it as they witnessed Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland joining hands in order to battle it out with a band of antagonists who were threatening to ravage across the Multiverse. With a trip down memory lane, and numerous Easter eggs in the film, it was an experience to behold for fans across the world. And it wouldn’t have been the same without the return of Garfield and Maguire’s Spider-Man. And this induction was made possible only because of how Disney Studios acquired the rights to Spider-Man. But Tom Hardy might have dropped a major update on a future Spider-Man movie.

Tom Hardy has had a fruitful association with Sony, having collaborated for a Venom trilogy with the first two movies being well received not only by fans, but critics as well. Hardy began his journey as Eddie Brock in 2018 with Venom, a movie that would go on to earn $213 million domestically and $856 million worldwide. The sequel, Venom: Let There Be Carnage also worked wonders, amassing a stellar $506 million worldwide.

The last movie of the trilogy, Venom: The Last Dance, is slated to be released later this year. Directed by Kelly Marvel, the movie is going to witness Tom Hardy and his symbiote move on to a new (and probably their last) rodeo. In an interview with Forbes, the Inception star had a lot to share about the film. And a major update on the future of Sony’s Spider-Man.

He’ll be hopeful that the team can use all their experience to make audiences take notice of Eddie Brock’s farewell at a time when ‘hero fatigue’ is the buzz word.
