Wanda may have k*lled her lover, the crazy upcoming villain by the MCU

Following Jonathan Major’s debacle and Marvel Studios firing him as MCU’s big bad Kang, there has been huge speculation regarding the next big bad. However, a new rumor indicates that the superhero brand already had a contingency plan, and that is bringing Doctor Doom to the MCU. Doctor Doom is the most likely contender of being the next big bad in the MCU, and a recent report has revealed that they had planned his debut in the wildest way possible, bringing him on board with Benedict Cumberbatch’s 2022 movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Marvel Studios Has Considered Doctor Doom’s Debut In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

octor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has created immense possibilities for anything to happen. As Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff turned villain, creating havoc across the multiverse, Marvel Studios introduced the Illuminati of Earth-838 consisting of Karl Mordo, Captain Peggy Carter, Black Bolt, Maria Rambeau, Reed Richards, and Charles Xavier. Insider and scooper Alex Perez recently revealed that the studio has another spot that was left vacant.

Responding to a query from a fan, Perez said that Doctor Doom was initially planned to be a member of the group that Wanda destroyed in the movie. “Ngl… Doctor Doom as part of the Illuminati in Multiverse of Madness would have slapped,” Perez wrote.

Doctor Doom is a Fantastic Four villain, and seeing him alongside Reed Richards would certainly be a mind-boggling treat. It would be the wildest entrance of the iconic villain in the MCU, but again, this also brings a series of questions about his survival in the movie, considering Wanda’s killing the spree. But there is another inherent angle to the face-off.

Fans Responded to Potential Confrontation Between Wanda Maximoff and Doctor Doom

Vision was not the only lover Maximoff had in her life. MCU has only explored Wanda-Vision relationship while she had several other relationships at different times. The Scarlet Witch, one of the most powerful beings in the MCU, has been in a brief relationship with Doctor Doom. The romance of the duo appeared in the miniseries Avengers: The Children’s Crusade by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung.

Following her disappearance in House Of M, her twin children Billy/Wiccan and Tommy/Speed went on a search for their mother only to find her in Latveria, embezzled by Doom’s spell. Wiccan helped her to regain her past memories, breaking the spell of the villain.
